Holy God

Updated: Jun 26, 2025

In the presence of a Holy God,

There is no hiding our heart from Him.

There is no hiding our sins from Him.

Because His light illuminates the hidden things.

The Holiness of His presence is revealing.

One, revealing of God's Holiness.

Two, revealing of our unholiness.

His Holiness pierces our hearts in His presence.

It convicts us and corrects us.

His Holiness loves us so much as to show us our faults.

By His light he illuminates our darkness and shows us the way forward.

He makes us Holy.

Through Yeshua we are made Holy.

God calls us to be set-apart like Him.

Set-apart for Him.

Though this the presence of Holiness can spark shame and guilt within us,

Through the confession of our sins, our sins are atoned.

Through Yeshua, shame and guilt are taken away

And thrown into the fire.

While we were sinners Yeshua died for us.

He makes us pure and righteous.

He is Holy.

Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord Almighty!

In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple. Above him were seraphim, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying. And they were calling to one another: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.” At the sound of their voices the doorposts and thresholds shook and the temple was filled with smoke. “Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the Lord Almighty.” Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar. With it he touched my mouth and said, “See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.”
