Naked Eye

This one is about the beauty experienced through the naked eye.

I have seen many pictures before.

Tried to recreate things that I have seen with my naked eye.

I have tried to create duplicates of the things I have seen,

with my naked eye.

But every time I have come short.

The naked eye sees far more beauty than a camera lens ever could.

I have looked at the beauty of God's creation,

The bright blue skies and the clouds in the sky,

The big green trees and the leaves that they bare.

I have looked at the animals and the birds,

And all living things that scurry along the surface of the earth.

I have sat by the ocean staring at the waves and mysteries of the seas.

I have looked at the beauty of the sunrise in the morning, and the sunset at night.

And I have sat and stared at the heavens past midnight.

The stars the moon and all the other mysteries in the sky.

A picture may capture a memory,

But it will never compare to what I have seen with my naked eye.

God’s beautiful creation was made,

for everyone to witness with their naked eyes.

My desire is that you are not fully satisfied with glimpses of the beauty of creation purely through images and pictures.

Do not get me wrong, please do capture those memories.

But my hope for you is that you chase those moments where you get to experience creation through the naked eye.

God's beautiful creation was meant for the naked eye.

Chase those moments.
